Celebrating Christmas <early> at Grandma & Grandpa Deubys ...

Christmas Eve at Grammy & Grandpa Pattersons

Your  very first Cabbage Patch Kid! Christmas morning at our house

Little Deuby Ladies

This is how we told the Deubys that your baby brother was on the way: a Big Sis tank top over your Christmas dress to surprise everyone!

a playdate with your cousins @ Tim & Melindas

12/1/2010: You took a STEP!!!  ... All by yourself from the bathroom sink to Mumma, about 12 inches away.

12/2/2010: You consistently point to your mouth to indicate hunger.  This is VERY helpful, especially to go along with your signs for "more" & "all done".

12/9/2010: You say "hey!" in all the right spots when we sing Jingle Bells. SO cute! When we ask you what Santa says, you respond, "oh oh oh" & you pat your adorably soft little toddler tummy. Priceless!

12/11/2010: I MUST make a note of your sweet & innocent "tee hee hee" giggle when you are enjoying something.  It's just precious & impossible to accurately & adequately describe the wonder, the sweetness, & the innocence of it.  I can only hope we have caught it on film somewhere along the way.  You are the most precious creature we could have ever imagined.

12/21/2010: You WALKED all by yourself for the first time!!!!!!!  This, we do have on film.  SO exciting!! You were almost 17 months old.

Peepee in the Potty! (10/2/2011) - needs pix

Dear Quinn - You went peepee in the potty! Waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhoooooooo! Hooray!! It happened last Sunday. Mommy was changing Baby Tait. You asked to sit on the potty. I happily obliged. Moments later you came into Tait's room (directly across the hall from the bathroom) with wet toilet paper in your hand. Surprised, as you've sat on the potty lots but hadn't yet gone, I asked if you went peepee. "Yeeeeeaaaah!", you exclaimed! Sure enough, you had peepee on your leg.  Then the happy dance ensued.  Mommy scooped you up into my arms & around & around we danced.  I was so excited for you!!  We then proceeded to call Daddy (he was visiting a friend across the state for the day) & both  your grandmas.  Everyone was so excited for you!  Mommy was the proudest of them all!!  I suppose it was no coincidence that you had worn your first Pull-Up ever that day.  BabyLady, Mommy just soaks up all these new experiences with you with pride & love.

All my love for always,
Mommy
